昨年の１０月川崎クラブチッタで行われた、anoyo
初の屋内イベント「Lunatic Thunder」９時間ノンストップライヴで、総勢１３名のミュージシャンを従え、衝撃デビューを飾ったanoyo
オールスター新バンドThe Lunatic Thunder !
メンバーはanoyo のフェスティバルではおなじみ、メインアクトを務める RICE、USCUS、UKIASHI、そして昨年アルバムを発売したOMBの４人からなるバンドです。2002年
2/26に発売されたフルアルバム「Kingdom come」（注：１）はそれぞれのアーティストが、コード、BPMだけを決め、一週間ごとにanoyonoana（anoyo
のスタジオ）に音源を持ち込みライヴセッションしながら作り上げていったライヴ録音トラック集になります。 又、2002年末の２度目になるライヴステージは、いきなり、ニューヨーク！ハウスの殿堂として有名なクラブ・シェルター、翌日はベッドフォード（ブルックリン）にある話題のクラブ
BPM での２晩にわたるライヴツアーでニューヨーカーの度肝を抜いてしまいました。 The Lunatic
Thunder ニューアルバム、好評発売中です。

Beginning at the Club Citta (Kawasaki) event `Lunatic
Thunder` with an experimental 9 hours of non-stop live performances, and
culminating in a 13 member trance jam we present to you The Lunatic Thunder.The
Lunatic Thunder consists of long time anoyo event members RICE, USCUS,
UKIASHI, and OMB. Each artist brings their unique style and flavor to
the project resulting in a vast and diverse sound that will hit you in
the head and make you want to get up and groove. The Lunatic Thunder has
played a number of events, including the legendary Nagisa `free party`,
a tour in NYC, and the off-beat Jagatara, and Asakusa rock festival.

RICE |

70年代より日本のポップ・ミュージック界を常にリードしてきた近田春夫のプロジェクト。日本ヒップホップ界の夜明けといえる名作「NASU-KYURI」を87年にPresident
BPM名義で発表。（収録曲の‘Hoo!Ei!Ho’は後、ユーザロックのカヴァーによりリヴァイバルヒット）。その後、日本初のヒップホップバンド「VIBRASTONE」を結成。偉大な足跡を音楽界に残す。これまでの常に時代の先を行き過ぎる活動はだれもが知っているところ。その近田春夫の新たな進化形態「RICE」が動き始めました。2001年の天命反転地でのデビュー以降、anoyoのフェスを中心に活動。

2000年に満を期して登場"BANZAR"のプロジェクト。Album"TheForce"に収録された"Smokehead"は大きな話題に、又、養老天命反天地でのライブも記憶に新しいところ。一度聞いたら右脳に高らかに響く彼のサウンドはヒプノタイトで幻想的な世界に持っていかれる。彼は"静と動"二つのライブスタイルを持つ。anoyo
LunaticPicnicでは満月の下、天上へ導くかの様なAmbient Live Set。そして朝日を迎えながらのDance Live Setは予想不可能な暴れん坊サウンドでフロアは熱狂の渦と化した。四分打ちを基調としながらも様々な音楽要素をミックスしていく彼のスタイルは観る者を圧倒し、迷わせ、そして、導く。新しい世界感を表現する彼は今後音楽界に新たな波を作り出すであろう。
Originally known as BANZAR (2000). USCUS gained alot of attention with an
insane live set at The Force festival in Yurotenmenihantenchi (`Smokehead`
on the Album” The Force”). USCUS`s unique style will leave you with your
mouth either agape, or extremely tired legs. |

前回のLunatic Picnicでの実力に裏づけされたプレイはすでに好評を博しているが、今回の佐渡でもOMBことDaisuke
Yamagishiの暖かくバウンシーで深海の澄み切った奥深いサウンドを堪能できることだろう。90年代初頭よりハウスを経て現在プログレッシブハウスからトランスまでを幅広い四つ打ち観点から表現している。最近ではロンドンのDJCASS&SLIDEが世界各地でプレイの選曲に起用するなど、海外からも注目を集めている。今後の彼の動向には期待したい。

UKIASHI こと AKILAによるプロジェクト。初期anoyoから常に行動を共にし、これまで開催されたanoyoのフェスティバルにDJ、ライブ・アクトとして数多く参加、幅広い音楽性を内包するフリーキーかつフレキシブルなスタイルで、そこに集う人々と共にパーティーを創りあげてきた。彼が表現する独特の浮遊感溢れるサウンドは、遙か彼方にまで響き渡るオーガニック・アンサンブルを奏で、聴く人々の心を包み込み、そして解き放つ。これまでリリースされたanoyoのコンピレーションCDすべてに楽曲を提供している。
The project of Akila, resident DJ for anoyo, and with
us since the beginning. His creations resound a freaky and flexible style
expressing originality through floating pads and ambiences. This organic
ensemble echoes from afar enveloping all listener`s hearts in a warm sound
and enabling release from all external pressures. (wow! sounds good doesn`t
it ;-) He is featured on all of anoyo`s compilations. |

幅広い選曲にドラマティックなストーリー性を合わせ持つダイナミックなプレイスタイルが特徴。最近ではブレイクビーツを積極的に取り入れ、常にパーティにおいての一体感を意識したプレイは多くのファンを魅了している。9才で渡米。98年よりDJとしての活動を始める。後にアメリカ東海岸を拠点に数多くのパーティでキャリアを積む。帰国後anoyoに参入し、現在anoyoのレジデントDJ兼A&Rとして活動中。そして05年8月から青山Everにて新感覚のマンスリーパーティ・｢anoyona｣をスタートさせ、ますますその活動に重みを持たせている。
Rave style with a unique electro
slant, Supernova takes on a progressive sound that tells a story. Moving
to America at the age of 9, he began DJing in `98. He began his career
formally as resident DJ with the east coast based rave organizer "Psychokinetics".
After returning to Japan, he entered into Anoyo, and began as resident
DJ from this year. |
